Hot Water Tank Repair Service and Replacement
Hot water has become something we can’t go a day with-out. As a result, when we don’t have hot water it needs to be fixed fast. For restaurants and businesses, a failed or failing water heater can result in not being able to properly serve your customers.
There are a few things that can cause a hot water tank to stop working properly such as sediment in the tank, a pin hole leak, a faulty gas valve or something as simple as the pilot light going out.
Here are some tell-tale signs your hot water tank is not working properly:
- No hot water (duh!)
- Water is leaking from or around the water heater
- Water temperature fluctuates while in use
- Discoloured water or smelly water
Some people think hot water tanks don’t need to be serviced, however this is not true. Below is a chart from Bradford White Water Heaters showing the recommended service intervals for one of their commercial water heaters. As you can see below, you need to be servicing your water heaters regularly to prolong tank life, maintain efficiencies and keeping your warranty valid.
